Returns Refunds & Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your item and I realize that things sometimes don’t fit or look the way you thought it would. I’m happy to refund your money on any ready to wear item and/or to help you find another item in my shop if you would prefer.
If you are not happy with your purchase please ****NOTIFY ME thru the contact page or at email@example.com within ****4 business days of receiving your package. This helps me plan for my shop.
I will be happy to accept returns and issue you a refund or exchange. Refunds will be made after the item is received in THE SAME CONDITION. *****Shipping fees both ways are non-refundable. Sorry, no refunds, returns or exchanges on Custom/Made to Order items or ‘altered especially for you’ items.
Items must be returned within **** 6 business days and in ORIGINAL UNWORN condition***** (no stains, makeup, tears, odors, perfume or other fragrances) in order to receive a refund.
Items will only be accepted for return if they are returned within 6 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise. This means you must send the item – postmarked within 6 days of receiving it.
For trying on items, particularly white or light fabrics, please be sure to remove makeup and fragrances that may damage the garment and void your ability to return the item. Item must be exactly the same as when it arrived – in the same sellable condition to be eligible for return. For your protection, use a service with delivery confirmation and insurance when reshipping the item. If you return an item and it is damaged, I cannot return your money. You will need to pay shipping to have the item returned to you.
I cannot give refunds on Custom/ Made to Order items. Each Custom/Made to Order item is created just for you and fits your specific measurements. Sometimes an item is customized for a buyer with changes such as length or hemline revisions. Once this process is begun, the item is considered custom and the entire cost is non-refundable. Contact me if you need changes and I will create a custom listing for you reflecting the changes and any additional costs for alterations.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the package using a shipping service that insures you for the value of the goods and is trackable. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
Please allow 30 working days for a refund to be processed via your payment method. This allows for extended time needed to ensure package returns safely and is in good order and to issue the return to you.

* Our household is allergy sensitive, so vintage and upcycled fabrics are thoroughly washed and dried before I work on them. New fabrics are also washed.
* I try to make things that are fun and durable. Most items are machine washable and many can be machine dried. I serge items where appropriate, for durability. I use a lot of raw edges for decorative effect in my designs, usually in non-stressed areas of the design. Most of these will fray minimally and can be trimmed to neaten them. Please be sure you are comfortable with raw edges in the designs prior to purchasing them.

Cost: Varies by country. Most international shipping is USPS Priority International and begins around $30-$40.
I ship items by USPS Priority mail – (1-5 days). I use Insurance and Signature Confirmation for US orders. This means you must be there to sign for it or pick it up later at your local Post Office. I try and let you know when to expect it. I want to be sure it is delivered just to you personally and not left on a doorstep.
Wedding and fragile dresses are sent USPS Priority in the USA and may occasionally be sent UPS by special arrangement.
Your order will be mailed within 1-8 working** days of payment receipt.
I usually contact you to let you know the item has been shipped and will track the item in transit when tracking is available.
Because my items are one of a kind, I cannot always replace an item, but will work with you to try and recover them. If the item is truly unrecoverable, I’ll try to work with you to give you a refund or credit for a new item or replace the item if possible with a similar item. Since most items are one of a kind, they cannot be exactly replaced.
***Currently I am unable to ship to Italy, Greece or Spain due to restrictions on fashion items. So sorry! If you accidentally purchase, I will need to refund your payment. Thanks.
UK Residents: Due to changes in the EU/UK policies regarding Distance Selling, I prefer to ONLY SELL CUSTOM items to UK residents. Contact me to arrange for a custom item and I will provide shipping quotes for your item then. Contact me if you have fallen in love with a ready made item and we’ll discuss options. Thanks!
International shipping is listed on each item and is usually USPS Priority Mail and varies between 1-6 weeks. Buyer is responsible for any customs fees/taxes. I am not responsible for knowing your country’s import regulations or for customs related damages. I am unable to purchase Delivery Confirmation or Insurance for some international shipping and may not be able to track the shipment for many countries.
*I declare the full value of the shipment on international customs forms. Please be aware of your country’s import laws and understand that as the buyer you are responsible for all taxes and duties that your package may incur.
